Jerome James, 52, of Fayetteville passed away Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, in Springdale. He was born March 21, 1954, in Union County, Mich., to Olean and Fannie Keys James. Mr. James worked for P.A.M. Transport for 14 years and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Combs Street Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Marcie West James; son, Jeremy James; daughter, Kristy James, all of the home; two brothers, Olean James Jr. and Charles James, both of Fort Smith; five sisters, Vivian Williams of Detroit, Rossie Eubanks of Spiro, Okla., Ola Ivey, Hellen Delt, both of Detroit, and Lillie Bray of Fort Smith; one granddaughter, Rayven Nicole Carr of Fayetteville.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22 at North Street Church of Christ in Fayetteville with Mr. Steve West and Mr. Irvine Williams officiating. Interment will follow in National Cemetery at Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville, online at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.
