Rev. Willie Edward Walton was the son of Robert and Emma Walton. He was born in Keo Arkansas. He attended school at Keo. He was baptized at an early age by the Rev. L. B. Bynum. He was married to Florence Easley. They had no children. He attended Arkansas Baptist College and received his D. D. from Morris Booker Memorial College. He pastored Mt. Olive Baptist Church at England, Ark. Corner Stone Baptist Church, No Little Rock, Ark, He also pastored other Baptist Churches in Arkansas. He was called to pastor First Baptist Church in 1948. He was moderator of Nazarite District Association for 17 years. Vice President at large of the Regular Arkansas Missionary State Convention, Vice Moderator of Antioch District Association, Treasurer of Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance, Trustee of Morris Booker Memorial College. He died on September 15, 1966 at the Sparks Memorial Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
