Teresa Denice McDougal, age 69, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on February 4, 2024. She was born in Niles, Michigan on July 14, 1954 to Cecil McDougal and Eleanor (Anderson) McDougal.
Teresa is preceded in death by her parents; her brother Lester McDougal; and her granddaughter Jade Marie McWilliams.
She is survived by her daughters Candy Whidden and Nancy Jones; grandchildren Allen, Charles, Harold, Angelique, Chloe, Michael Jr, Giselle, and Kylie; great-grandchildren Opie and Abel; her sisters Freda and Nannett; along with many more friends and extended family.
Teresa was a devoted mother, grandmother, and Grammy. She loved to laugh and never missed a chance to crack a joke or make someone blush. She was very artistic and loved to paint, draw, design and make jewelry, and crochet. She was a voracious reader, and she loved her music. She enjoyed concerts and local musicians, and she always supported the local art and music scene. Teresa loved her family fiercely and will be missed dearly by everyone who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 6:00-8:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas. A funeral service will follow on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 10:00am in the chapel.
