W.H. Rushing Funeral Held At Van Buren
Springdale, Oct. 19 - Funeral services of W.H. Rushing, 84, who died here Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.W. Clinkscales, were conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Ocker Funeral Chapel in Van Buren. Dr. W.B. Miller, pastor of the First Presbyterian church in Van Buren, assisted by Rev. T.R. Keeling, pastor of the Wood Memorial Christian church of Van Buren, conducted the service. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery in Van Buren.
Mr. Rushing was born in Pope County, and moved to Crawford county 52 year's ago. He had lived in Springdale for the past two years.
He is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Clinkscales; Mrs. Millon Doggett, of Fairland Okla., and Mrs. W.J. Martin of Van Buren; two sons, R H. of Matthews, Mo., and M.R., of Clay City, Ill.; 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
