SPRINGDALE — Robert Gene Turnbough, 67, of Springdale died Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, at Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. He was born Jan. 31, 1940, in Viburnum, Mo., to John Leonard and Dorothy Pauline Barr Turnbough.
He was self-employed and a Pentecostal.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jane Turnbough of the home, to whom he was married Jan. 1, 1980; one son, Robert Chris Turnbough of Springfield, Mo.; one daughter, Pamela Jean Meredith and husband Shawn of Springfield; one granddaughter, Savannah Turnbough of Springfield; two brothers, William C. Turnbough and wife Mae of Springdale and and Gary D. Turnbough and wife Kathy of Bentonville; seven sisters, Sue Pliler and husband Paul and Kathy Mercer, all of Springdale, Wanda Heads and husband James of Green Forest, Barbara Logan and husband Junior of Hindsville, Bonnie Mercer of Springdale, Arbel Chew and husband Leroy of Cuba, Mo., and Alvina Housewright of Bourbon, Mo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Gary Hayhurst officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Billy Turnbough, David Turnbough, Eugene Bell, Ernie Lee Bell, Jimmy Heads, Bobby Peden and Michael Pliler.
