July 17, 1897 - September 10, 1988
Chauncey Dupree Josenberger, Sr. was born the son of the Late W.E. Josenberger and Mariah Hayes on July 17, 1896 in Crawford County. He attended Fort Smith Public Schools. At an early age he became a member of Mission Point Baptist Church, where he served as a Sunday School Teacher and a Deacon. He was married to Katherine Gordon Josenberger, who preceeded him in death. To this union 13 children were born of which five preceeded him in death.
