Husband of Sarah Elizabeth Green Hughes
Billy Hughes was the son of Sylvester Hughes and Princella Drake of Oakland, California. He was born in Greenwood Arkansas. He was educated in the Public Schools of Greenwood and Fort Smith, Arkansas. He married Sarah Green in 1951 and had five sons. He was a member of the Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.
