Alim Hakim (aka Tyrone Wallace Smith) passed away April 1, 2020. He was born April 23, 1966 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Eddie Shoates and Lanie Smith.

He was a student of the Fort Smith Public schools. He attended Howard Elementary, Darby and Kimmons Junior High and was a 1984 graduate of Northside High School. He worked in the construction and food industry. He thought he was the best cook in Fort Smith.
