Larry Gene Daugherty, age 68, of Hope, Arkansas passed away on November 22, 2023 in Texarkana, Texas.
Mr. Daugherty was born on December 9, 1954 in Hope, Arkansas to his parents Denver and Sue Daugherty. He was a hardworking man, who also enjoyed farming and fishing. Larry was also a devoted Christian.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jeremy Daugherty (Lucus Pacheco), Jason Daugherty (Allie), Jessica Bain (Derik), Will Gilbert (Jennifer), and Chris Gilbert; ten grandchildren; and one great grandchild; brothers, Wayne Daugherty (Linda), Dale Daugherty, Gary Daugherty (Linda), Carl Daugherty (Judy Kaufman).
Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home, Hope with Bro. Jake Vandenberg officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
