Daniel Lee "Danny" Foster, age 59, of Cookville, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, in Mt. Vernon, Texas, following an extended illness. Danny was born August 21, 1964, in Fayetteville, Ark., to LaRue and Arlin "Pete" Foster.

Family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life honoring Danny, and it will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Community Church, 150 Church Street, Elkins, Ark. 72727.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Olen and Esta Gholson Byers, and Earl and Opal Foster.

Survivors include Tony and Dana Bohlken, Kaitlyn Keener and husband, Colton; Bailey Dorner and husband, Landon; a sister, Marsha Foster, of Rogers, Arkansas; cousin, Janice Courdin, of Monett, Mo.; several nieces; a nephew, and many close friends.

Danny was a 1982 graduate of Elkins High School. He was a Master Electrician and was employed at EDH Electric in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, for 34 years.

Danny grew up in Elkins, Ark., and loved spending time on the White River, where his ashes are to be spread. He loved baseball, the St. Louis Cardinals, fishing, hunting, spending time at deer camp in Kansas, and visiting Colorado every summer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Danny's memory to Chambers Hospice, 201 W. 20th Street, Suite #101, Mt. Pleasant, Texas 75455.
