January 24, 1943 - November 14, 2009
Jimmy E. Parvin, 66, of Pocola, OK, passed away November 14, 2009. He was born January 24, 1943 in Booneville, AR to Ell and Delta Faye Parvin.
Jimmy was retired from Baldor Electric and was a member of New Bethel Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his wife; Patricia, 2 Daughters; Tamara DaPra and her fiancée Matthew Leavell of Fort Smith, and Kristi Featherston and husband Rick, of Tulsa, OK, 1 Brother; Robert Parvin of Greenwood, AR, and 3 Granddaughters; Mercedes Plummer of Fort Smith, Kyah and Rylee Featherston of Tulsa, OK. He is also survived by his Uncle and Aunt; Clifton and Imogene Daggs of Fort Smith.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Parvin.
Funeral Service was Thursday, November 19, 2009, in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Clifton Daggs officiating. Burial was at Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Quang Truong, Lloyd English, Phillip Daggs, Gary Harp, Terry Harp, J.L. Harp, Matthew Leavell, and Lionel Daggs.
Honorary Pallbearers were: Darrell Harp, L.C. White, Michael Harp, and members of New Bethel Assembly of God church.
