Ken Martin Simmons age 74, of New Edinburg, AR, died Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at his home. He was born October 26th, 1946 in Warren, AR a son of the late Erwin Cap Simmons and Opal Martin Simmons. Ken spent his career in sales, he had many years of service and a retirement with Sysco Food Services, Bill and Ralphs Wholesale Foods Inc, and in his later years, he worked in sales for the jewelry store, Gentle Touch in Fordyce, AR. Ken graduated from the New Edinburg School system and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Ken served on the Warren Fair and Marketing Board, he loved to watch his grandkids in sports, hunting, fishing and watching the birds he had coming to his feeders.

He is survived by his wife whom he married June 20th, 1965 at Emmaus Baptist Church, Mrs. Judy Wagnon Simmons, his son, Quinn Simmons and spouse Christy, New Edinburg, AR and his daughter Delle Simmons, New Edinburg, AR. 3 grandchildren Quinn Simmons II, Cameron Simmons and Cole Simmons.



Funeral services were 2:00 PM Saturday, April 24th at Frazer’s Chapel with Bro. Mike Taylor, Bro. Tim Williams and Bro. Rocky Goodwin officiating. Guest speaker was Angie Clements. Soloists were Sabrina Harris, Eddie Raines and Jimmy Pennington. Organist was Janice Sullivan. Burial was in Moseley cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Steve Orr, Scott Boyce, Danny Norris, Marion Calvert, Kenny Williams, Wade Parker and Danny Green. Honorary pallbearers were Phil Rankin, Freddie Mobley, Curtis Blankinship, Jr., Laura Peck, Karen Richardson, Dana Moseley, Jack Moseley, Jimmy Grissom, Austin Clements and Lewis Clements.
