Eddie Wayne Lathan, age 83, of Warren, AR passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Chapel Woods Health and Rehabilitation in Warren, AR. He was born January 01, 1937 in Bradley County, AR to the late Willie Lathan and Mildred Jarratt Lathan. He was a Hermitage High School graduate, retired Fire Chief for the city of Warren, a former employee at Frazer’s Funeral Home, a member of First United Methodist Church and a member of Old River Hunting Club.
He is survived by his wife; Betty White Lathan of Warren, AR whom he married December 6, 1986. Sons; Carrol Wayne Lathan of Sheridan, AR and Darrell Harvey, Jr. and spouse Dana of Warren, AR, daughter; Tamara Jolley and spouse Mike of Warren, AR, seven grandchildren; Laura, Brandi, Seth, Tyler, Kera, Chastity and Landon and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 21 at Moseley Cemetery with Rev. Gary Harrison and Rev. Charles Woolley officiating. Burial was in Mosley Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Carroll Wayne Lathan, Mike Jolley, Darrell Harvey, Jr., Tyler Lathan, Seth Jolley and Landon Jolley. Memorial preferred to First United Methodist Church, 111 W Church St. Warren, AR 71671 or Life Touch Hospice 2301 Champagnolle Rd El Dorado, AR 71730.
