Bob Norton Sr., 74, of Fort Smith, entered into rest on Friday, April 29, 2011 in his home.
He was born February 15, 1937 in Fort Smith, the son of the late Mallie and Alma Norton.

He was a retired engineer for Burlington Northern Railroad, member of F.O.E. and B.L.E.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, Bobby Michael Norton and brother Charlie Norton.

He is survived by his companion, Jenny Petty of Fort Smith, daughter Teresa Grant and husband Alan Baker of Azle, TX, son, Bobby Norton Jr. of Owasso, OK, daughter in law, Patsy Norton of Fort Smith, mother of his children, Linda Norton of Fort Worth, two sisters, Mary Lilly and Jerry Kite both of Tulsa, OK, two brothers, Mallie Norton and Kathy of Owasso, OK and Skeet Norton and wife Camile of Hot Springs, five grandchildren, Lori Norton, Cory Norton, Cody Grant, Trae Norton and Levi Wolski; three great grandchildren Kaitlyn Rose, Brooklyn Norton and Michaela Williams.

Funeral service was held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Lewis Funeral Chapel with interment at Roselawn Cemetery officiated by Reverend George Barham and Eric Smith.

Pallbearers were Mallie Norton, Bobby Norton Jr., Cory Norton, Trae Norton, Cody Grant, Robert Lauderdale, Victor Lauderdale and Steve Smith.
