Stephen Neff died on Monday, July 23rd, 2018.
Stephen was born on January 28, 1955 in Fort Smith, Arkansas and was preceded in death by his parents, Stella and Miles Neff, his brother, Sam Neff, sister Susan Neff, his first wife, Linda, and grandparents, Hubert and Manila Neff and Sam and May Dalton,
He was a graduate of Northside High School, an active member of Harvest Time Tabernacle and retired employee of the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department.
Stephen leaves behind his loving wife, Remy Neff, of Fort Smith, two step-daughters, Tiffany White and Davina Roper and husband Paul, as well as three grandsons, Caleb White, Sam, and Alex Roper. Stephen is also survived by his sister, Sandy Lacey, her husband Jack, a nephew, Jay, a niece, Mandi Howe, and many other individuals he was proud to call friend and family.
Stephen will be dearly missed by all who were touched by his kind disposition and generosity of spirit. Stephen was a devoted and loving husband. Happiness was achieved simply by spending time with Remy. No greater joy came from just riding his bike with her, going to dinner with her, or worshiping with her. They were a pair and belonged together. Stephen never met a stranger. He loved visiting with friends and talking about his many adventures. He loved to fish, hunt, and won many bow and arrow contests. He loved talking about his red Jeep and his loyal dog, Gabriel. He especially enjoyed riding with his many friends on his bike. Even through his illness, he did not let it slow him down and he never, ever complained.
Funeral service was Friday at Harvest Time Tabernacle with burial at Roselawn Cemetary. Pallbearers will be Conrado Balagtas, Scott Forsberg, Jim Berngen, John Piersing, Uncle Fudge, and Perry Monnyham. Memorials may be made to Harvest Time Tabernacle, Fort Smith, AR.
