Fred Mosley, 51, of 710 Nelson St., died Saturday night. He was born Feb. 18, 1917 in Union County. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Callie Mosley, Wilmot; six sisters, Mrs. Gladys Cobb, Wesson, Mrs. Fannie Brodie, El Dorado, Mrs. Elnora Parker, Calion, Mrs. Annie Lee Carrol and Mrs. Daisy Jameson, both of Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs. Bessie Stanley, Wilmot, two brothers, Frank Mosley, Kansas City, Kan and Doyle Mosley, Nebraska. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Shady Grove Baptist Church on the Magnolia Highway with the Rev. R. Z. Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the Damascus Cemetery under the direction of Marks Funeral Home of Magnolia. Pallbearers will be Charlie, Jr. Carroll, Herchel Williams, J. P. Blake, John Sanders, John H. Mullins and Jimmie Culp. (El Dorado Times - May 3, 1968)
