January 5, 1964 - February 8, 2018
Louis Valencia passed away peacefully on February 8, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.
He was a hardworking man who worked for St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for over 18 years doing landscaping and maintenance where he achieved the Master Gardner Business of the Month Award. He is a member of St. Mary of the Springs Catholic Church in Hot Springs.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, parents and two sisters. Surviving family members are his wife, Mary Beth Valencia; children Louis Valencia, Jr., Conni Valencia, Fabian Valencia; step-children Jonathan Goodin, Christopher Goodin, Will Goodin; six sisters and numerous family members and friends in the United States and Mexico.
Many thanks to the Genesis Cancer Center and Arkansas Hospice, both located in Hot Springs, who showed tremendous dedication and compassion during this painful time.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 13th, 2018 at St. Mary of the Springs Catholic Church with Fr. George Sanders as celebrant.
Visitation will be at 9:00 AM, with Rosary recited at 9:30 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
