Frederick H. Ladage, 92, of Fort Smith died Saturday, March 31, 2001, in Henderson, Texas.

He was owner and operator for over 50 years with Ladage Tire & Battery at Ninth Street and Rogers Ave. He was a member of First Lutheran Church and held various church offices in the church. He was a founding member of the Fort Smith Dervish Club.

Memorial service was 10:30 a.m. Thursday in First Lutheran Church with a private family committal at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Felicitas; a daughter, Sallie Ladage of Fort Smith; a son, Dr. Sanford Ladage of Henderson, Texas; and two grandchildren, Rebekah and David Ladage, both of Henderson.

Pallbearers were Larry Tennant, J.B. Clark, Billy Williams, Paul Schaefer, Finley Turner, Bebo Slates, Jimbo Thompson and Dr. Charles Hartsfield.
