August 18, 1985 - November 6, 2005
Andrew Blake Findlay, age 20, was born August 18, 1985, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He died Sunday November 6, 2005 in a tragic motor vehicle accident. He is survived by his loving parents, Les and Debbie Findlay; a sister, Carol; two brothers, and paternal grandmother, Eva of Fort Smith.
Andrew was an avid motorbyclist, whose interest skill and ability to ride was surpassed only by the joy he received while doing it. He rarely met a stranger, never forgot a face, and was a friend to countless many.
Andrew attended Fort Smith Public schools including Cook Elementary, Ramsey and Chaffin Junior, and Southside High School. He completed requirements for the GED in July 2004. He was an employee of the Whirlpool Corporation.
Funeral services was held at 2 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Orr officiating. Interment was at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He will be missed more than words could ever describe and will forever hold a special place in the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved him. We were truly blessed to have him in our lives.
