Joe Alex Flake, 72, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, in Fort Smith. He was a member of First Lutheran Church.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. today at First Lutheran Church with a private family burial at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
He is survived by Susie Flake of the home; two sons, Andrew and his wife, Blythe Flake of Fort Smith and Patrick Flake of Fort Smith; three sisters, Janelle Flake of Van Buren, Judy Elkins of Clarksville, and Jeanie Frauenthal of Little Rock; two grandchildren, Emily and Alex Flake.
Honorary pallbearers will be Todd Birkhead, David Beckman, Wayne Williams, John Paul North, Myles Friedman and Jim Lyons.
