March 23, 1951 - January 26, 1965
Donna Rae Swick, 13, of 303 E. Thirteenth St., Smackover, died Tuesday in Anderson Hospital, Houston, Tex. She was born March 23, 1951, in Buchanan, W. Va., the daughter of Herbert and Lacelle Fowler Swick. She had lived in Smackover for the past 10 years and was a member of the First Methodist Church. Other than her parents survivors include: one sister, Miss Pamela Swick of Smackover; her paternal step-grandmother, Mrs. Maudie Swick of Walkersville, W. Va.; and her maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Joe H. Fowler of Little Rock. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:30 P.M. in the First Methodist Church of Smackover with the Rev. Harold Davis officiating. Burial will be in Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Rumph Mortuary. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Pallbearers will be Frank Olive, Delmar Olive, Max Mitcham, Bill Smedley, Paul Brock and N. T. Rutledge. (The El Dorado Times - January 27, 1965)
