December 19, 1972 - February 11, 2021
Christy Michelle Oewns, 48, of El Dorado passed away on February 11, 2021 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on December 19, 1972 to Charles Edward Owens and Bonnie McHan Owens. Christy enjoyed making wreaths, candles and beaded jewelery, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She loved her grandbabies and enjoyed spending time with them.
Survivors include her daughter, Alexis Hightower (Fisher); her husband, Jerry Brosius; grandsons, Laeton and Copeland Hightower; parents, Charles Edward Owens and Bonnie McHan Owens; brother, Kevin Owens; sister, Stephanie Owens; nieces, Kayla Harrington and Nikolle Knight; and nephews, Joe Knight, Charles K. Owens, Joshua Owens, and Brayden Owens.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Perry’s Funeral Chapels, Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Perry’s Funeral Chapels officiated by Pastor Sandy Carter and Bro. Justin Rosson. Interment will be held at Wyatt Parnell Cemetery.
Fisher Hightower, Zachary Turner, Justin Rosson, Daniel Johnston, Charles Cage and Holland Welch will serve as Pallbearers.
