July 26, 1935 - August 30, 1965
Funeral services for Charles W. Sisco, 30, of Strong, who was killed at 8 a.m. Monday when his truck overturned eight miles east of El Dorado on Highway 82, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Green Grove Assembly of God Church. Officiating will be Rev. Herbert Stratton and Mrs. Preston Dennis. Burial will follow in the Green Grove Cemetery under the direction of Rumph Mortuary. Sisco was born on July 26, 1935, in El Dorado and was the son of Samuel J. and Mina Frisby Sisco. He was a lifelong resident of Union County and a member of the Green Grove Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Patricia Ann Bledsoe Sisco; two daughters, Connie Gail Sisco and Sharon Kay Sisco, both of Strong; his parents of El Dorado; four brothers, W. J. Sisco of Crossett, Curtis Sisco and Lovelle Sisco of Little Rock, and Arlie Sisco of the United States Air Force in Omaha, Neb.; and two sisters, Mrs. Lois Jones and Mrs. Samuel Ball, both of El Dorado. Pallbearers will be Charles Warren, Francis Bledsoe, John William McCorvey, Braudice Bennett Jr., Earl Herring, and Buel Wooten. (The El Dorado Times - August 31, 1965)
