ARKOMA - Herbert Dobson, 90, of Arkoma died Saturday, July 10, 2010, in Fort Smith. He was born Jan. 3, 1920, in Fort Smith. He was street commissioner for the city of Arkoma and a volunteer Arkoma firefighter. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Hickory Ridge Cemetery, northwest of Charleston, under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Charleston. He is survived by two daughters, Zonia Williams of Arkoma and Mona Ingle of Van Buren; a sister, Dolly Newman of Lake Los Angeles, Calif.; a brother, Clifford Dobson of Fort Smith; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
