Robert E. Douglas, 61, of Lavaca, AR. entered into rest on Thursday, July 17, 2014 in Lavaca, AR.
He was born January 14, 1953 in Charleston, AR. to the late Audie and Kathleen Douglas.
He was a member of Union Baptist Church in Lavaca, AR.
He is survived by his loving wife Rebecca of 42 years of the home, 2 daughters Stephanie Myers and Robin Steiger, 3 sisters Anna Kay Muschaney, Sue Bly and Bonnie Douglas, 1 brother Dwight Douglas, 10 grandchildren Caylie Murry, Summer Murry, Ashley Murry, Ethan Myers, Haylee Matteson, Kyra Steiger, Alex Steiger, Hannah Yandell, Rachael Yandell and Sara Yandell, and special friends John David Robison and Meredith Robison and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Hickory Ridge Cemetery in Lavaca, AR.
Pallbearers will be Marty Douglas, Jay Bly, Randle Overbey, Robert White, Ricky Khilling and Greg McGuire.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lawrence Bly, Carroll Lee Williams, Allen Fraley, Ronnie Graham, Harold Khilling, Forrest Khilling and John David Robison.
Memorial service will be held following the service at Union Baptist Church at 8300 N. Hwy 252 in Lavaca, AR. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel in Lavaca, AR.
