Robert Carr Head, 70, of Norphlet, AR passed away Thursday, April 9,2020 at his home.
Robert was born February 2, 1950 in El Dorado, AR to the union of Robert Collier Head and Nancy Louise Beard Head.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Robert Christopher "Chris" Head.
Robert was a member of the First Baptist Church in Norphlet, and retired from Lion Oil Company as a chemist. He was a partner in the Head Land Company and the Head and Ahrens Company.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Gail Head, two sons, Tommy Head and fiancé Abbey Reed, and Ronnie Head, one sister, Jane Harnist and husband Richard, one grandson, Dayton Head, one soon to be granddaughter, Rayen Head, and two nieces.
A private graveside service was held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 13, 2020 at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Bro. Don Parks officiating. Interment was in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR.
