Charles "Bill" Willis Brooks, age 77, of Ozark, Arkansas, passed away, Sunday, December 11, 2022, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born August 13, 1945 in Glendora, California to Charles Arthur and Una Juanita Powell Brooks. Bill was a United States Marine Veteran, retired from Columbia Gas, a member of the Cameron, West Virginia Fire Department, a member of Solomon's Fire and Rescue Squad in Maryland, and he was of the Christian faith. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Craig and Darrell Brooks; one sister, Sandra Jo Stiles; one son-in-law, John McQuaide; one nephew, Brent Brooks; and one great niece, Kerstin Gilbreth.

Bill is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jacqueline Brooks; two sons, Eric Aubry of California and Todd Aubry and wife Heidi of Ohio; two daughters, Jodi Martinez and husband Rick of Ozark, and Tika McQuaide of Ozark; one sister, Sharla Holtz and husband Dave of Ozark; one sister-in-law, Donna Brooks of Alma, Arkansas; one son-in-law, Rob Smith of Ozark; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation service will be 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel 2315 West Commercial Street Ozark.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 16, 2022 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark, with Brother JD Ellison officiating, with burial at Highland Cemetery Highway 64 West Ozark, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Tim McQuaide, Ben Brooks, Caleb Martinez, Darrell Cordle, James Aubry, and Chris Aubry. Honorary pallbearers will be Sheila, Larry, Samantha, Randi, Johnelle, David, Tony, and Mackenzie, his nineteen great grandchildren, nephews, Kenneth and Jason Wilbanks, niece Gwendi Gilbreth, and the Ozark High School Class of 1964.
