John A. "Tony" Givens, 68, of Norphlet, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 at his residence. He was born July 2, 1953 to John D. and Patricia Ann Scott Givens in El Dorado, AR.
He was retired from the United States Postal Service, where he worked as a postman for over 22 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Norphlet.

Preceding him in death are his parents; his daughter, Mandy Atwell; and his beloved aunt, Alene Howard.

Survivors include his children, Heather Givens Williams, Jeromy Givens (Rachel); grandchildren, Ethan and Eliah Winer, Urijah Givens, Cooper Hunter; brother, Robert Givens (Sharolyn), Curt Dees (Cindy), sisters, Fran Marquez (Ray), Rhnee Rodgers; brother-in-law, Bud Jones; nieces and nephews, Kaitlin Jones, who was like a granddaughter, Shannon Batey (Ken), Leann Poss (Joseph), Gage Talley, Tyler Talley (Rebecca), Scotty Givens (Crystal), Danny Givens (Anne), cousins, Jonathan Loomis, Houston McWilliams, and a host of many more family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Young's Funeral Directors.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Norphlet with Rev. Doug Wills officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
