November 2, 1958 - March 17, 2020
David Young, age 61, of Russellville, died Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at Baptist Health in Little Rock. He was born November 2, 1958 in Little Rock, to Harvey Lynn and Claire Marie Jones Young.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Allen Young, and John Michael Young.
He was a University of Arkansas Alumni, a member of the US Geological Society, and an avid outdoorsman.
Survivors include his father, Harvey Young of Russellville; two sons and daughter-in-law, Daniel B. and Alicia Young of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Ryan A. Young of Russellville; a brother and sister-in-law, Harvey Lynn Jr. and Amy Young of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Aribella, Gavin and Luke Young all of Cheyenne, Wyoming; two nephews, Josh and Nathan Young of Little Rock; a very close friend, Tony Rankin; along with other relatives and friends.
A private family funeral service with private burial in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in El Dorado, Arkansas was under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
