February 1, 1954 - January 6, 2016
James Haynie, 61 of El Dorado, AR passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at his home.
James was born February 1, 1954, in El Dorado to the union of James Robert Haynie and Nelda Burns McCall.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
James retired from El Dorado Water Company after 42 years. He graduated from El Dorado High School in 1972. He was an avid deer hunter and a lifetime member of the Arkansas Bow Hunters Association.
Survivors include his mother; Nelda McCall and husband C.E. McCall, two sisters; Billie Mayer and Robin Remmler, his aunt; Theela Steel and husband Terry, three nieces Tracie Pettigrew, Rachel Mayer-Goldberg, and Lea Mayer. Two great nieces and one great nephew.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2016 at the Bailey Funeral Home, El Dorado.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the Rest Haven Memorial Park with Elder C.E. McCall officiating. Interment will be in the Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, El Dorado, AR.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Community of Christ Church, 600 N. Mosby, El Dorado, AR 71730
