Archard "Archie" Weaver, 86, of Greenbrier, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2011. Mr. Weaver was born in Waveland, Arkansas to the late Clarence and Maudie (Hood) Weaver, on August 8, 1924. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather, who worked in the home construction business and enjoyed wood working. He was a veteran of WWII, having served with the Army in the Philippines. He was a member of the Carpenter's Union at Russellville and a member McGintytown Church of God for 58 years.

He was also preceded in death by his siblings Benoni McGinty, Alice Glover and Benjamin Weaver.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Clara (Barnes) Weaver; daughter, Sharon K. Carter and husband Gary of Russellville; sons: Phil W. Weaver and wife Amy of Searcy, David Weaver and special friend Debbie Howard and Richard D. Weaver and wife Lisa all of Greenbrier; grandchildren: Jennifer Modersohn ( Shawn), Lori Bartlett (Chad), Tara Duncan (Scott), Reagan Weaver and Anna Weaver; six great grandchildren and a numerous extended family and friends.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m.,on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at The McGintytown Church of God with Tom New officiating. Interment will follow at McGintytown Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
