Ethel Mae Brewer Sams was born April 06, 1941, in Camden, Arkansas to Perry and Nominea Brewer.

Ethel Mae accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. She was on the mother board and a faithful member until her health failed.

Ethel Mae Brewer was married to Leotis Williams and to this union seven children were born, and one preceded her in death. Later she married James Sams with no children was born. But loved four stepchildren as her own.

Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, one sister: Louise Cook and one brother: Willie D. Brewer and two grandchildren: John Paul Williams and Stephanie Faye Williams.

Ethel Mae leaves to cherish her precious memories of seven loving children: Robert Williams (Shirley), Chidester, Arkansas, Eddie Williams (Lisa), Camden, Arkansas, Jeremiah Williams (Cheryl); Retired Veteran Jessie Williams (Edith) of Columbus, Georgia, Magalene Williams of Rosston, Arkansas; Ethelrene WIlliams of Camden, Arkansas; 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; sisters: Carolyn Brewer, Texas; Eloise Anderson, Camden, Arkansas; and Linda Ann Jackson, Rockford Illinois; brothers: Perry Brewer, Jr., (Mattie) Marshall, Texas and Leo Brewer, Leesville, Louisiana; close cousins Mae Williams and a friend, Cora Ross.
