Billy Burnham Dorris, age 77 of Camden, AR was born on June 03, 1933 and passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Ouachita County Medical Center. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Camden, AR. He's now walking in the mountains and calling the turkeys.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pink Burnham and Alta Dorris; wife, Nina Dorris; half brother, Ed Dorris; and stepfather, Elize Dorris.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Burson Dorris of Camden, AR; daughter, Gena Olvera of Camden, AR; sons, Billy E. Dorris and John Edward Dorris both of Camden, AR; and Bobby Ray Dorris of Piedmont, MO; stepdaughters, Lynn Baker and husband, Tom of Camden, AR and Kristi Frazier and husband, Alan of Camden, AR; stepson, David Loy and wife, Missy of Norphlet, AR; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and brother, Phillip Burnham.
A graveside service will be 2:00 p. m. Friday at Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family will be at the home of Lynn Baker, 3458 Bearden Loop Road, Camden, AR 71701.
