Sister Mary Yvonne Finley, 96 of Barling died at McAuley Convent on Friday, Feb. 9, 2007. She was born April 18, 1911. She entered the Sisters of Mercy on Feb. 2, 1931, received her bachelor of arts degree from Our Lady of the Lake in San Antonio in 1956, taught in several Catholic schools, performed pastoral care ministry at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hot Springs and retired to McAuley Convent in 1992.
She is survived by two sisters, Ruth Petri of Southington, Conn., and Margaret Cotter of Pasadena, California.
