*Obituary

Funeral service for Tom Daly, president of the Daly Monumental Works and one of the most widely known business men of Fort Smith, who died Friday at his home, 2201 South T street, will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock with requiem high mass at Christ King church. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery. The body will be taken Sunday afternoon from the Lohmeyer Funeral home to the Daly residence to lie in state until the service hour. The death of Mr. Daly, was the result of a stroke of paralysis. He had not been well for the past two weeks. He was 50 years old. Born and reared in Fort Smith, Mr. Daly's name and that of his father the late Ferrell Daly, have been linked with Fort Smith's business interests t for more than six decades, The Daly Monumental Works, owned by the family continuously, was established 61 years ago and never passed out of the hands of the family, Mr. Daly assuming its management when his father died. His father was a native a of Ireland who came to Fort Smith when he and the city were young. Mr. Daly was a member of the Rotary club and was vice president of the Memorial Craftsmen's association. Surviving relatives are Mr. Daly's wife, who is the former Miss Florence
