ROGERS — Robert Eugene Holmes, age 67, of Rogers died May 24, 2014, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born in Fayetteville, N.C., on Jan. 7, 1947.
He was a co-founder of CEI Engineering and he co-managed Delta Medical Supply with his wife, Beth.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Holmes; mother, Irene (Liptad) Holmes of Fayetteville; children, Michael Holmes and wife, Lisa, of Bentonville, Beau Reed and wife, Jessica, of Jonesboro, Kristyn Lawson and husband, Levi, of Rogers; sister, Linda Burnett and husband, Bill, of Fayetteville; sister-in-law, Nancy Holmes of Lawrence, Kan.; grandchildren, Owen Holmes, Noah Reed, and Kamryn and Ciera Lawson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Col. Eugene Holmes; and a brother, Larry Holmes.
A private gathering of family and friends will be held at the family home.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Children's Tumor Foundation at www.ctf.org.
Cremation arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
