Luther (Doc) Earnest Ramsey, age 87, of Pangburn, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2007, at Southridge Village Nursing Center in Heber Springs. Born in White County, Arkansas, on August 6, 1919, he was the son of the late Lewis C. and Hester (King) Ramsey.
Mr. Ramsey was a retired farmer. He attended the West Main Street Church of Christ. Mr. Ramsey was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Lawrence, Shelby, Albert, Louie, Calvin, and Lowell Ramsey; and two sisters, Lottie Feister and Mildred Howell.
Survivors include two sisters, Hellen McCollum of Wayne, Michigan, and Ruby Feister of Jackson, Michigan; and his nieces and nephews. Mr. Ramsey is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.
