November 21, 1924 - September 3, 2014

Bobbie Clotine Baker was the fifth child born to the late James Earl Baker, Sr., and Clara Marsh Baker of Letona, Arkansas. She was born November 21, 1924 in Letona, Arkansas and departed this life on Wednesday September 3, 2014, leaving an extended Family who loved her dearly and whom she loved in return.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Elmer Baker and two sisters Lola Vernon and Genevie Baker.

She is survived by one brother, James Earl Baker, Jr. (Charlsie), two sisters Mozelle Marsh and Patsy Baker all of Pangburn. Bobbie’s love extended out to nieces and nephews, two nieces Carol Jones (Don), and Darliss Treat (Cleve) of Pangburn, four nephews, Jerry Vernon (Linda), David Baker, Ronn Baker (Stephany) all of Pangburn and Jimmy Baker of North Little Rock.

Bobbie was a member of the Pangburn United Methodist Church. She was an active member, cleaning the church, decorating the church as well as painting and mowing are just a few of the endless list of services to her church community.

Bobbie worked as a telephone operator when Pangburn had a central telephone office. After the telephone service became dial, Bobbie went to work for Clary (Eaton) working there 30 years before retiring.

Bobbie was a woman of great strength and character, always sacrificing her needs to help others. She was the first to step forward if a family member was in need of help. She never met a stranger and had a special calling to help people in crisis.

Bobbie was always full of fun and kept everyone laughing, She never met anyone that she could not bring a smile to their face with her great humor and personality.

Words cannot express how deeply she will be missed by so many that loved her. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel special and loved. She was a very special lady. She will always live within our hearts. We request that Bobbie’s legacy of unyielding, unconditional love be continued by all that knew her.

To celebrate her life there will be a visitation at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy on Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 6-8 PM.
