August 11, 1944 - October 24, 2012
John Wayne Wilkerson, 68, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012.
His belief was of the Jehovah's Witnesses. He was retired from Kennedy Heat and Air after many years. John was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved gardening, being outdoors and cooking on his grill.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Lois Jean Allender Wilkerson, of North Little Rock; son, Patrick Wayne Wilkerson (Jacquelyn) of Ward, daughter, Rhonda Kay Delasandro (Jeff) of Searcy, stepdaughter, Jeanna Davenport (Steve) of Jacksonville, stepson, Brian Cothren (Melanie) of Searcy; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Perry Wilkerson (Dona) of Western Grove, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Rita Wilkerson and brother, David Wilkerson.
Memorials may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 230 Smokey Lane, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel
