February 20, 1962 - February 20, 2017
James C. “Buck” Word, Jr. 55, of Camden, AR passed away on February 20, 2017 in Dallas, TX. He was born February 20, 1962 the son of James C. “Buster” Word, Sr. and Doris Mathews Word of Camden.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Pamela A. Word.
He is survived by his mother, Doris Mathews Word; two sisters, Donna Moody and Connie Kelley (Jerry) all of Camden, AR; three stepdaughters, Robin Purifoy, Amy Launius (Scott) of Camden, AR; and Christel Kelly (Kenneth) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; six, step-grandchildren and five nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, February 24, 2017 at Harmony Grove Cemetery with Pastor Terrie Lynn Bunnell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00-8:00 PM.
