Richard Dale Sexton, age 81, of Pangburn, Arkansas, passed away December 26, 2019. Born on May 27, 1938 in Clay, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Lee Sexton and Francis Cordle Sexton.
He was preceded in death by his son Curtis Ray Sexton and siblings Pauline Sexton Pearce, Nadine Sexton Watkins, John Sexton, Ruby Sexton Weatherford, Willie Ray Sexton, Imogene Sexton Ellis and Jimmie Ellis.
He is survived by his wife Nelda Johnson Sexton, his daughter Danette Sexton Fortson and her husband Darrell Fortson, his grandson Ryan Fortson and three great-grandchildren Calvin, Adalynn and Joe Fortson, siblings Pat Sexton Imbierowicz and her husband Jerry, Ben Weatherford and wife Angela, and his sister-in-law Joyce Ellis. Mr. Sexton is also survived by his other relatives and many friends.
He loved his church and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm - 3:00pm on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the McJester Baptist Church with funeral services following at 3:00pm with Bro. Denver Gillespie officiating
