Karen worked as a baker at a donut shop for several years and she worked for the Daily Citizen as a route carrier until her health made it impossible for her to continue to do so. The thing that she was best known for was being a loving person. She loved her family and friends. She enjoyed the time that she had with them and looked at each one as being special for who they were. She looked at being very fortunate to be able to live close to her family and to raise her children near her parents so they could have a close relationship with her parents and extended family.
