Joyce Dorsey, 83, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, in a local nursing home.
She loved to cook, quilt and collect recipes. She loved her family more than anything and was a wonderful mother and meme; she was a blessing to us all and she will be truly missed. She was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fort Smith. She was retired from Rheem Manufacturing in Fort Smith.
She was preceded in death by her great grandchildren Cody Sanders.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by three daughters, Karla James and husband, Robert of Barling, Pamela Joyce Hobbs and husband, Gary of Fort Smith, Sherry Poole of Barling; six grandchildren, Teresa, Stacia, Shaun, Gary Jr., Jamie and Tyler Neado; seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
