John Dale Bell, 78, of Alma passed away Monday, Aug. 7, 2017, in a local hospital.
He was born Jan. 19, 1939, in Dyer to the late Elbert and Blanche (Burrow) Bell.
He spent most of his working life in the oil and gas industry and then retired as a road grader operator for the Crawford County Road Department.
The family will have a private service at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Alma.
Survivors include his wife, Judith Ann Bell of the home; one daughter, Robin Bell of Washington; two sons, Kevin Bell and Chris Bell, both of Alma; one sister, Ruth Williams of Broken Arrow, Okla.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
