Charlie G. "Dean" Wilson, 68, of Dover died Monday, May 31, at Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway.
He was born Aug. 12, 1935, at Hayti, Missouri to Charlie Doss and Zella Louella Bruce Wilson. He married Juanita Page on Sept. 10, 1954, at Hernando, Miss. He was a member of the Hatley Missionary Baptist Church at Dover where he had served as a Sunday school teacher, usher, superintendant, choir member, and on the pulpit committee. He was a former employee of the Dover School District, where he worked as a school bus driver and a bus mechanic. He and his wife sold watermelons during the summers at Dover the last few years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, William "Bunk," Sharron and Freddie Wilson; and a sister, Mildred Hill.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Juanita Wilson of Dover; a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Paula Wilson of Dover; a daughter and son-in-law, Melba and Stephen Howell of Carthage, Miss.; five brothers, Ray Gene Wilson of East Prairie, Mo., Norman Wilson of Advance, Mo., Ronnie Wilson of Benton, Mo., Brian Wilson of Michigan, and George Wilson of Advance, Mo.; three sisters, Faye Brainer of Benton, Mo., Bonnie Boyd of Dover and Janey Barker of Campbell, Mo.; six grandchildren, Eric Wilson, Nicole Tackett, Aaron Page, Jonathan Story, April Howell and Gina Howell; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Hatley Missionary Baptist Church at Dover with Lester Barnes and George Boyd officiating. Burial will be in McFadden Cemetery at Dover under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
Active pallbearers will be Don Dwiggins, Aaron Page, Johnathan Story, Mark Tackett, Carl Ramsey, Steve Howell and Jim Morrison.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cecil Ramsey and Rick Pearson.
