Dustin Ray Gene Damron, age 55, of Russellville, died Saturday, June 14, 2008 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Little Rock. A son of Vernon and Betty Damron of Russellville, he was born June 19, 1952 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was the owner and broker of Real Estates Associations in Russellville, and had been employed by Continental Airlines in Little Rock for twelve years. He was a United States Army National Guard veteran of the Iraqi War, and had served as a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical agent of the Arkansas National Guard unit of Perryville. He was a member of the Living Church of God.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law: Deborah and Jack Derrick of Atkins; and MaDonna Damron of Russellville; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Debi Damron of Loveland, Colorado; seven nephews and nieces and six great-nephews and nieces.

The funeral service will be at 10 A.M. on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by Mr. Dennis Shipley. Burial with military honors will be in McFadden Cemetery at Dover, by Shinn Funeral Service.

Active pallbearers will be Chris Clover, Shawn Yarber, Scott Derrick, Jake Warren, August Kelly, Cpt. David J. Damron and Gregory Burns. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Derrick, Ronald Sumter and Herschel Hargus.
