Eugene Clark Hynds, 76, of Malvern died on Wednesday December 14, 2011 peacefully at a local hospital surrounded by his family. Eugene was born July 15, 1935 in Caddo, Oklahoma to the late Benjamin and Nancy (Templeton) Hynds.

Eugene was a Baptist by faith. He was a painter most of his working life, the last twenty years he spent as a small business owner in fresh produce.

Eugene is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Eugene Clark Hynds Jr., two brothers; John Anderson and Ben Hynds, three sisters; Pauline Berger, Louise Jackson and Wardna Bangerter. He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years Anita Ruth (Young) Hynds, two sons; Russell G Hynds and wife Melinda of Bismarck, AR and Darin P Hynds of Lane, Ok, two daughters; Denise G Davis and husband Bill of Aly, AR and Cheryl L. Erwin and husband Wally of Brandon, MS, one sister; Mattie L. Dill of Blue, OK, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 - 5:00 P.M at Atkinson Funeral Home in Malvern, AR. Service will be Monday December 19, 2011 at 10:00 A.M at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Rockport Memorial Gardens with Bro. Doyle Caldwell and Bro. Alan Cansler Officiating.

Pallbearers will be David Knoerr, Jerry Poole, Rick McPherson, Russell Hynds, Darin Hynds and Benjamin Hynds. Honorary Pallbearers are Willard Ray, David Voyles, Sheffield Nelson, Harold Linn, Bob Cansler and Chris Strawn.
