Curtis Jerome Wade also known as “Cool C” was born March 6, 1977 to Jerry Wade & Janice Alexander Wade.

At an early age, he confessed faith in his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ at Union Mission Baptist Church. He was employed by Sindle Trucking. He loved his family and would do anything within his power to make sure they were good. He had a smile and the energy that would light up a room. He enjoyed riding bikes with Zy’rhiyanna, hanging out with his homies, and riding around town listening to music.

Curtis departed this his life on February 17, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents; Jerry Wade & Janice Alexander Wade; his brother, Demetrius Reynolds, and his grandparents, Willie & Irene Wade, and Richard Alexander Jr. 
 


He leaves to cherish his memories his daughters, Tikeona Wade and Zy’rhiyanna Chambers of El Dorado, AR; sons, Kametrice Richmond of Malvern, AR and Demetris Wade of El Dorado, AR; a granddaughter, Kameya Richmond; sisters, LaShayla (Carvin) Wade of Houston, TX, Nevaeh Wade of Richmond, CA, and Barbara (Stacy) Richmond of Dallas, TX; brothers, Carleton Wade of Oakland, CA, Earl (Becky) Edwards and Franco Edwards of El Dorado; his mother, Nancy Edwards and his father, Carl Edwards of El Dorado; his aunts, Patricia Coleman of Aurora, CO, Mattie Thomas of Detroit, MI, Lottye Clayton of Kensington, CA, Tina Smith of Hayward, CA, Terrie (Reggie) Williams of Dallas, TX, Linda (Ron) Clemons, Betty (Cedric) Rainey both of Kansas City, MO, Chris Blackmon, Florence Thomas, Flora Alexander, and Velma Jean Alexander all of South Blend, IN; one uncle Lonnie Ray Alexander of South Blend, IN; his grandmother, Sarah “Suzy” Alexander of South Bend, IN and Viola “Mama” Hart of El Dorado. He also leaves a special niece, Tatyana Reynolds of El Dorado; other nieces, Janice Wade and Carvanay Mitchell of Houston, TX and his nephews, Keyvon Mitchell, and Carvin Mitchell Jr.; and a great nephew, Chandler White, as well as, a host of cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 1-5 pm on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at First St. James Baptist Church. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
