September 23, 1931 - February 15, 2018
Leona Reynolds passed on February 15, 2018 at Oak Ridge Nursing Home. She was born September 23, 1931 to Clayborn Sockwell and Mary Lizzie Thorns Williams in Rosston, AR.
She is preceded in death by her parents, eleven siblings, two granddaughters, and two grandsons.
Survivors are four sons: Johnny (Lillian) Thompson of El Dorado, AR, Robert (Jackie) Hampton of Smackover, AR., Timothy Threadgill of Prescott, AR and Willie Polk of Grady, AR; three daughters, Maolla Mitchell, Annette Wilson and Shelia Beard of El Dorado, AR; four brothers, Charles (Linda) Williams and Eugene Williams of CA, Clayborn (Phylis) Sockwell, Enree Sockwell of Rockford, IL; five sisters, Eva Mae Haynie of Colorado Springs, CA, Ollie B, (Doug) Hubbard, Stella (James) Marshell, Dorthy Jean Duckett of Rockford, IL, Cora Tidwell, Lorene Hopson of Prescott, AR and Jeredine Michael of Long Beach, CA; nine grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and twenty-six great-great grandchildren.
Public visitation Friday, February 23, 2018 from 12 noon until 4:30 p.m. at Sims Mortuary. Funeral services Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. John Elliott, eulogist. Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary. Sign the guestbook online at www.simsmortuary.com
Pallbearers will be Nathan Rainey, Dave David, Monte Brown, Ernest Heard, Mark Thomas and Shaun Gatson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Demonte Kilgore, Derrick Williams, Alvin Mitchell, Nathan Rainey Jr., Mark Thomas Jr., and Ryan White.
