Eugene Gordon, 79 of Van Buren passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 in a local hospital.
He was a retired forklift driver for Hickory Springs in Fort Smith; a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War; a member of the Top Hands Riding Club in Van Buren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Sadie (Burris) Gordon; two sister and three brothers.
Graveside service will be 2 PM Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Mt. McCurry Cemetery in Rudy under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
He is survived by one daughter, Cindy Gann of Witcherville; three sons, Steven Eugene Gordon and Jimmy Gordon and wife, Georgia all of Van Buren, David Gordon of Middleton, Tennessee; one sister, Gladys Baker of Las Vegas, Nevada; nineteen grandchildren; forty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Ben Gordon, Dan Gordon, Shane Gordon, Mark Kelly, Larry Gordon, and Danny Taylor
